Being a Mermaid, Cordelia loathed to travel the seas by ship. And why would she ever bother with such a miserable method of travel, when she could just assume her mer-form and swim there faster than a ship ever could, what with its dependence on the wind and the weather conditions at the surface of the sea. However, there was the small matter of arriving at her destination soaking wet, not to mention that most people, while respectful of the Magi, were still not used to seeing a Mermaid change her form and step out of the water. Such a scene might cause a shock among the local populace. And so, Cordlia found herself on a ship, sailing to Dellglade to meet her fellow Magus, Fridheil. She had promised to help the Elf find something very special that had been claimed by the sea.
Fridheil wouldn’t have been waiting long before Cordelia’s ship came into the harbor and docked. Upon disembarking, Cordelia quickly spotted Frid among the people gathered at the docks and headed their way.
”Good day, Fridheil!” she called out, waving at the Elf as she made her way through the crowd.
”Please tell me how I can help.” Cordelia said with a smile, once she had reached Frid’s side.
