All fandoms will line up with the end of 2022, some characters have been aged up, make sure your character ages are adjusted accordingly.
Supernatural
End of Season 11: Chuck (God) and Amara (the Darkness) have reconciled and have gone off together to who knows where.
Before Amara left, however, she opened the doors to Heaven, allowing Mary Winchester to return to life on Earth. These were not the only doors she opened, and many previously deceased beings have suddenly found themselves alive once more. Most have amnesia that will fade in time or with an experience that jars something within them emotionally. Their reappearance on Earth does not seem to be instantaneous but seems to come in waves.
The Winchesters are relocating to the newly discovered Men of Letters bunker in New Orleans, it was the last bunker to be finished before the Men of Letters disappeared. They will find that the supernatural creatures here are unlike any they have encountered before. Dean is 36 and Sam is 32.
True Blood
Season 1 takes place over the span of 16 days, though Maryanne Forrester never comes to Bon Temps and does not free Tara from prison. Sookie is a Light Fairy, Niall Brigant is her Great Great Grandfather (though this is currently a secret) and a member of the royal court of Otherworld. Tru Blood was announced one week before the season begins, and the first Vampire "comes out of the coffin". Sookie's telepathic abilities are not a Fairy power, but instead a gift to her grandmother from the Demon Crowley, all members of their line that manifest as Fairy will have the telepathic abilities. Sookie is 25.
Vampire Diaries
Newlyweds, Jo and Alaric Saltzman managed to survive their wedding, but they lost the twins. Kai managed to kill the remaining members of the Gemini Coven before he also lost his life, leaving Jo the sole surviving member of the coven.
Lily Salvatore has been reunited with her Heretics, who Kai brought back to Earth from their prison world before he died trying to kill his twin sister, Jo.
Bonnie Bennett is still searching for a way to wake Elena Gilbert from the Sleeping Beauty curse placed on her by Kai before his death (When we get an Elena, her player can spearhead this plot). Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline are 22.
The Originals
The Crescent Pack, including Hayley Marshall, are under the Full Moon curse set on them by Dahlia. Dahlia, Esther, and Michael are dead. Davina Claire is Regent of the Nine Covens of New Orleans, a position that is proving tenuous at best. The Mikaelson's are still reeling from the deaths of their parents...again, and the deaths of their brothers: Finn and Kol, though Freya is searching tirelessly for a way to return them, as is Davina. Marcel and his vampires are still exiled across the river, but with the loss of so much family, Klaus may be weakening in his resolve. Hayley is 23 and Davina is 19.
FATE: The Winx Saga
Alfea College is set in Otherworld, or Faerie as it was once known. Bloom is from New Orleans and she is 19 at the end of Season 1. The origin of the Burned Ones is still a mystery, though Rosalind was able to use them to her advantage. In reality, the barriers between Otherworld and Earth are weakening, allowing a few of the Fairies oldest enemy to step through...following their nose.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
After destroying the Hellmouth in Sunnydale once and for all, Buffy reveals that she received a letter from Nevermore, a secret institute for Supernaturals run by Tulane University in New Orleans. Those who wished to join her moved from Sunnydale to New Orleans. Without a Watcher Council to guide the now activated Slayers, Giles recalled that the Watchers used to be Men of Letters ages prior and begins to search them out, finding their old Bunker in New Orleans and inadvertently activating it after figuring out how to get in. They have been in New Orleans for a year, Buffy is 23.
Angel
The surviving members of Angel Investigations were able to defeat the Circle of the Black Thorn and in so doing, prevent their plan to unleash Hell on Earth. With Wolfram & Hart practically burned to the ground and so few of them left, Angel and Spike decide to follow Buffy to New Orleans, with Gunn and Illyria in tow.
Wednesday
Nevermore Institute is a secret offshoot of Tulane University, priding themselves on educating the best and brightest of the supernatural world, even if they are a little picky. Wednesday and Enid find themselves roommates under Dean Larissa Weems, they are 18, and half way through their Freshman year, returning from winter break.
Extras!
Jack has not been born in our current timeline, however! One of times that he dies in his own timeline, he inadvertently creates a "waiting room" to the hereafter. A warm white space where he meets his sister, Sabrina Morningstar, from yet another timeline. Perhaps it was that tie that made him reach out to her, or perhaps it was that they died at the same time in their separate worlds. Whatever it was, Jack attempts to get them both home and instead creates a one way portal from this Waiting Room to, you guessed it, our timeline. This portal gets left behind, and other people from other timelines and worlds are also pulled in. If some past self also exists in our timeline, their past self will be replaced with this new one and simply disappear. Memories may be touchy but they will generally know who they are, and that they had died in their own world.
